3/12/21. Friday -Spring Break at College No. 1 - Trying to get some work done this week.

10:30-11:00 – I’m up because my security system keeps beeping because the batteries are dying in one of the monitors. The dog couldn’t take it and is outside.  When I come downstairs, I turn off the alarm and the beeping stops. The dog bounds through the doggie door, happy to see me and wagging her tail.  She grabs her toy and we go outside. It’s a nice day for now, but still wet outside. The dog does a No.1 and No. 2, then back inside for her treat - cheese and coffee for me.

11:00-11:30 – I strip my bed and put my sheets in the washing machine. Dress in Covid-19 uniform. Wash face. Moisturizer. Brush teeth.

11:30-2:00 – Blog posts.

2:00-2:30 – I talk to B.

2:30-3:00 – I take the dog for a walk and listen to the Slow Home  podcast.  It starts raining shortly after we return. No yard work today.

3:00-4:00 - I have a spinach salad with zucchini, tomatoes, and cheese and the left over fried rice. I read A Memoir in Dog Years.

-L. goes to work.

4:00-5:00 – I do an Insanity workout.  This one is called Pylometric Cardio Workout and goes for 45 minutes. I make it to 35 minutes stopping only once to transfer my sheets to the drier than getting back in it, although towards the end I’m not doing the repetitions as fast as the athletes in the video.

Full disclosure and maybe TMI, but I’ve bled everyday since 2/16/21 and this was a few days AFTER my regular 10-day period [yes, my period runs 10 days]. Could I have ovarian cancer? Maybe…I’m not a BRCA carrier, but who knows? Anyway, I know that women, usually young women, will skip a period, or more, if they engage in intense exercise.  L.’s friend, M, an athlete, did not have a period for 9 months recently.  And so, I took up the Insanity workouts again.  I completed the 60-day trial when I was 42??   After 7 days of performing Insanity workouts, with one day off for a 2-hour bike ride, and 2 rest days, I stopped bleeding today. Unfortunately, it appears that I will have to do daily Insanity workouts to stave off the bleeding…Oh well. There are worse trade-offs….

5:00-6:00 – Recover and I read A Memoir in Dog Years.

6:00 – 8:00 – I go to work.

I check my DE class.  The Anonymous Grader approved my Module #12 assignment and opened  Modules 14 and 15 for completion!  I read through all of the material and prompts, then complete a checklist showing that I’ve satisfied ADA requirements in my class, and submit.  This satisfies the Module 15 assignment.

-L. returns from work. I hear her moving around the kitchen and chopping stuff.

-I have to create a Module “Home Page” in Canvas to satisfy Module #14, so I knock it out and get it ready for L. to screen shot later.

-I have ONE Module left and my DE class is finished.  I will allegedly receive a $600 stipend upon completion.

8:00-10:00 – I review my Chapter 8 lecture notes, prepare the script, and select musical clips for the AUDIO lecture.  L. finished the Google slides, but I have more edits because she changed some of the images, so I prepare the edits and email to L. I compare my slides to the Chapter 8 Review Quiz – they’re not synchronized so I have to create new questions and change the sequencing.

-L. enters my office with a steaming plate of spaghetti!!  Nice and hot, just the way I like it!!  How nice!  Dinner is perfection.

10:00-12:00 – I record lecture.

12:00-12:45 – I prepare my Indochine post for my French Cinema Discussion board.

12:45-2:00 – Yes, a bomb actually went off in my kitchen. I wash tons of dishes, clean the counters, sweep, and store all the leftover food. Prepare my coffee for tomorrow. Take the dog out and lock up.

2:00-3:00 – Put the sheets on my bed. Continue with my closet project – I’m on the pants, skirts and dresses side of the closet.  I purge more items and hang everything correctly.

3:00-3:30 – Night time routine. Bed.
