Day 32 - California Covid spike - mandatory masking
I took this at the Arboretum…
Friday. 6/26/20.
7:30 - 9:00 - L. has to be at work early today so I was hoping that the dog would not start barking before L. goes downstairs, but that didn’t happen. The dog started barking at 7:30 and I went downstairs to let her out. I get my coffee. The sprinklers came on at 7:00 a.m., as programmed!!
I do a 30-min. cardio and a 30-min upper body work-out.
9:00-10:30 - I make scrambled eggs with Gouda cheese and prepare my lunch for later. I purge more items from the refrigerator. The cheddar cheese went bad.
10:30-2:00 - I update my blog. I’ve been behind on entries since Sedona.
2:00-3:00 - I get dressed, grab my lunch bag and camera, and leave.
3:00-4:00 - I drive to Arcadia and eat half a dark chocolate bar - infused with orange - on the drive.
4:00-6:00 - At the Arboretum. I stroll the grounds for two hours and it’s lovely. I get a great picture of a peacock with outstretched feathers - incredible! I also make it to the waterfall at the other end of the property. Everyone is masked, even outside, and the Peacock Cafe is open for business with outdoor seating.
6:00-7:00 - I drive home and eat chicken pot pie that I packed in my lunch bag. L. gets home from work a few minutes later - long days for her this week.
7:00-8:30 - I read Panic and Joy.
The sprinklers come on again, at 7:00 p.m. - success!!!
8:30-11:00 - I finally catch up with my blog entries and am fully up to date. L. has to be at work early tomorrow and is too tired to watch Love After Lock Up, but I sneak in a few episodes. Don’t tell L.
11:30-12:30 - I do my nighttime routine and listen to a few more episodes of Dating Diaries.
