Day 31 of Governor Newsom’s “Blueprint for a Safer Economy”
Sunday. 9/27/20
7:30-9:00 – I wake up plagued by stomach cramps. I take Advil and go downstairs to let the dog out. She goes potty and we go back inside for cheese. I make coffee and return upstairs to lay down with the heating pad. It’s my period. I listen to Reveal – Catching Amazon in a Lie.
10:00-11:00 – I return downstairs and make coffee. Back upstairs to lie down and read a Money Diary. Accomplishing nothing today.
11:00-12:00 – There is no food in the house and nothing to eat. I have a small piece of chocolate, then sit in the shower, waiting for my cramps to subside. I listen to Today Explained.
L. leaves for coffee with another friend.
12:00-1:30 – I have a coupon for an acai bowel so drive to Robeks to redeem it. Unfortunately, my Garmin misdirects me and I end up on the freeway going back the way I came. I finally arrive and, once there, order the bowl, then try to find a park I haven’t visited before so I can eat my breakfast. I listen to AirTalk.
1:30-2:00 – My cramps are so bad that I pull into a middle school parking lot and sit in one of the spaces, waiting for them to subside enough so I can drive home. I’m able to eat some of the acai bowl.
2:00-2:30 – Home and I go upstairs to lie down. I listen to the Global News Podcast.
2:30-5:00 – I take a nap and sleep off and on.
5:00-7:00 – More Advil and downstairs to do class prep for my 2:30 class tomorrow. I pull the PP slides for tomorrow’s class and compare to lecture, making changes when necessary.
7:00-7:30 – I take the dog for a walk.
7:30-9:00 – I select musical clips for various points in lecture and get them ready to deploy.
9:30 – I have cheese and crackers for dinner. Not hungry.
10:00-11:30 – I record Lecture and the Public Announcement. Then, L. airdrops them into Canvas for me.
11:30–12:30 – I have to get another workout in so I do a combo Pilates/Yoga 40-minute app.
12:30-1:00 – I prepare the Discussion Board prompt for tomorrow’s class and ensure that course content is ready.
1:00-2:00 – I make a grocery list for L., straighten the kitchen, and take my trash cans out. I turn off all interior and exterior Halloween lights.
2:00-3:00 – Nighttime routine and bed.
