I looovvveee this book…

12/27/20. Sunday

8:30 – Awake, but I go back to sleep.

10:30 – 11:30 – I’m up and I read Law of Innocence. So good!

11:30 – 12:00 - I can hear the dog whining because she’s been alone too long.  Downstairs and I take her outside to go potty.  Then, back inside for more cut-up chicken.  I do the dishes and make coffee.

12:00-1:00 – I have coffee and one of the donuts Mohamad brought over on Xmas and read Law of Innocence.

1:30-2:30 – I pull down the treadmill and do a 1-hr speed walking app, maxing out at 4.2 miles per hour.  It’s very difficult and I work up a sweat.  I read as much of my book as possible while I’m on the treadmill.

2:30-3:30 – I have leftover Cesar salad, butternut squash soup, and some of my Dad’s cornbread dressing for lunch. I read the Law of Innocence while I eat.

3:30-4:30 – Shower. Lotion. Covid 19 uniform.  I listen to the Organize 365 series, How Laura Sees Time. I’ve been listening to her Time series, trying to get ideas about how to better structure my time for Spring semester.  I clean my toilet, counters, and mirrors.

4:30 – 5:30 – Having compiled the number of all toiletries I used for 2020 after finally completing an annual assessment of my monthly expenditures, I go to CVS with my 25%  coupon and buy as many of the items on my list that I can find.  I’m able to find half of what I need – the other half, I’ll order from Walmart.com and then I will have everything necessary for 2021.  If my calculations are correct, I shouldn’t have to purchase additional toiletries for the entire year.  I’ll be closely tracking my toiletry consumption to make sure I estimated correctly.

5:30 – 6:30 - Home and I turn the Xmas lights on and get B.’s plate and drink ready.  There are more dishes in the sink!  How did they get there?  I do the dishes and clean the kitchen, then put my trash cans out.

6:30-11:00 – B. arrives and I set him up in my bedroom, with a drink in hand and a plate of food. We discuss the Final and then settle in to watch The Wilds, a series referred by his daughter, J.  At first, I’m on the fence.  By the end of the second episode, I’m hooked.

11:00 – 12:30 – B. leaves and I work on blog posts.

-L. asks me if I want to go on a bike ride tomorrow.  After I recover from shock, I say, “Sure!”

12:30 – 1:00 - L. enters my room and asks if I heard the noise that she just heard.  It sounded like a big truck to me, but she said the whole house shook.  L. investigates and determines it was thunder and it is now raining.  In fact, it appears to be a torrential rain.  I take the dog out and shut everything down.  I don’t think we’ll be going on a bike ride tomorrow.

1:00-1:30 – Night time routine. Bed
